I purchased this item to wear while walking my dog.
I purchased this item to wear while walking my dog. We walk early in the morning (sunrise) because my dog does not do well when it is hot (flat faced breed). So far there have only been three days when I have not needed to wear it. I live on the coast and those sea breezes are chilly. Usually I just wear a thermal base layer underneath, however I have sized it so there is room for another thick layer if necessary. I really like this coat, it is a good length at the front with a really generous dropped back and the hood actually fits.

great practical item
For anyone who works outdoors or spends time in the wild this is a great item, quiet and comfortable and seems well made. it is based on the Swandri bushshirt but is more practical in some ways. hopefully it will prove to last as long.

An excellent designed bushcraft style smock. Very good weather protection with an especially longer tail. Tested on a windy autumn day on Cannock Chase over a 5 hour 14 km hike....kept snug but easily vented by the long neck zip.....really well designed pockets, sleeves, hood etc.....can't wait to put it to more extreme tests as autumn and winter develop.
