The Aonach Field Boots are fully waterproof shooting boots that feature an H-Tex membrane, giving excellent protection and breathability. With uppers constructed from the finest Anfibio leathers, protected by a rubber rand in high abrasion areas, then a Vibram Bifida sole giving excellent grip on tough terrain, in all temperatures, this is a truly durable boot. We have then added a memory foam insole on top of the shock absorbing midsole to give extra comfort all day long.

There’s good, and we’ll see how they are a few months down the line. Very comfortable and flexible. Some internal dampness after 20mins long wet grass. Mid-sole seems non existent so you can feel every pebble and stump. Leather seems a bit thin and after 2-3 wears the rubber rand shows a bit of coming away. For £200+ I expected better.

I took the boots out for the first time
I took the boots out for the first time yesterday and they were comfortable right from the start, great grip and flexibility looking forward to seeing how they perform in the wet.

been out 3 times in wet muddy fields 4 hours at a time boots been very good no slipping or water getting in but will need extra socks on as not as warm as i thought they would bebut more then happy with them

Having used these in everything from mud, snow and in about 10 inches of water! I can confirm these are the most comfortable pair of boots I have had. Light weight, durable, warm and the grip levels are incredible. Especially in the wet walking up Speedweel caverns (peak district) steep hill top walk in torrential rain, carrying a 3 year old AND whilst being pulled left to right by a 16 week old puppy (still in training). Brilliant boots.

Boots fitted perfectly and are very comfortable, wasn’t expecting them to be that comfortable but they are . Super waterproof and even splashing through puddles and bogs in the Scottish highlands they stay dry inside. Highly recommend them and really enjoying putting them through their paces .

Wasn't sure about these when I first saw them in my search for new boots. I hadn't had a pair of leather walking boots for a years and I'd been disappointed with my last pair of synthetic boots.
The Aonach 11 boots were also slightly above my budget, but I decided to ahead and give them a go......Best decision I made, they arrived on time. The fit and comfort from the start is amazing. By far the most comfortable boots I have owned in many years, so much so I sometimes forget I've got the one when I get home.
Excellent waterproofing and very easy to clean.
I would thoroughly recommend these boots and Hoggs of Fife for their excellent service.
