Hoggs Caladonia Wax Jacket
This is better quality than my old Barbour. Made from Dundee Sailcloth used all over the North Sea. The only truly waterproof wax jacket. Mine have a hard life. I’m the local mole catcher out in all weathers. It’s not only a better but of kit, a fraction of the price. A true quality bargain. ATVB Alan Mac

Jacket for dog walking
Its a lovely jacket probably too good for training with my Dog. It has kept me warm and dry so far but it is not as waxy as I expected. But so far so great.

Ich hatte diese Jacke schon mal in einem Geschäft in Dänemark probiert und war schon dort begeistert von der guten Verarbeitungsqualität. Wollte damals eine Jacke mit Kapuze fand aber die Qualitäten und Passformen der andern mit Kapuze nicht so gut wie diese. Nun bin ich froh das ich mit dem Wachs Hut und der Jacke zusammen auch bei möglichen Regen gut geschützt und dieses Modell gekauft habe. Die Jacke ist bequem und Taschen gut ausgestattet. Excellent build quality and some nice little touches that I think set this Brand and jacket apart from another well known Brand. Sturdy fabric and finish, especially around the cuffs, collar, and side pockets. The fit is true to size. Originally I went for large being at the large end of medium myself, but that was far too large, especially around the waist. Medium is a good fit for my 40" chest and 5'10" height. Highly recommended. I expect to get years of good use out of this. Happy to recommend.

Excellent Caledonian waxed jacket. The jacket was comfortable, fitted very well, the right length with a good range of useful external and internal pockets. My usual XL size was a bit tight but the XXL was a great fit - far better than some of the competition and a great price too. The ordering was simple and delivery very prompt. Lovely, but fits VERY small
I bought the size I normally do - one where most things I have are getting to be too big. With this, it was FAR too small - I would have had to go two sizes up if I wanted any chance of wearing anything more than a light shirt underneath.
So, sadly, I have returned it.
