Bought as present for my husband who walks our dog in all weather's. Light enough for spring summer but also warm enough for colder days. Seems very well made and he's happy with fit and comfort. Material is almost suede like and colour is a light brown.

Only improvement would be a larger inner pocket.

Very nice jacket. Not too thick or heavy but still warm enough. Plenty of pockets, including ones that I have no clue as to their purpose. ( Inside left side one that is too small for a phone - what is it for? )

I'd prefer the hood to roll up into the collar as it does tend to get in the way when shooting - gets between cheek and stock. Removing it fixes that as long as its not raining.

Yet to test its waterproofness.



Sizing might be an issue for some: Although it fits I find that it is not cut to allow any clothes underneath, so I really need to go up a size, but that would make it too baggy for summer wear. Can't win really.

Excellent material, hood is very very large which must be great for shooting but less so for general use, pit zips not as big as you would find on a hiking jacket, and collar doesn't do up as high on your face. Arms are quite long for the style of jacket which doesn't go much below your belt. All adjustment points are excellent.

Well designed jacket. Size is correct, I am tall and still good. If wearing for long period whilst exerting oneself it does get sweaty, not as breathable as they would have you believe but, it is waterproof.

I bought this to wear in the autumn/early winter beating ,dog walking etc where I don't want a full length or warm coat but need something more robust than a light summer jacket. It is too early to have tested it properly but it feels just right , the material feels tough enough to shrug off brambles etc but not too thick for active wear. The pockets are well placed and a good size and the hood roomy enough over a baseball cap. It kept me dry and comfortable standing still in the rain last weekend with just a shirt underneath. I can't justify 5 stars until it has had a proper test but feel confident that it will perform.
NFC service and prices can't be beaten.

lives up to its name so far. but if its cold, you will have to put extra layer on.

I have worn this jacket for most of March`s nasty wet & blustery weather. It is light, breathable, waterproof & repels wind. The lining is substantial and the outer shell is tough. Great pockets. The sleeves are not too long so the Velcro cuffs are comfortable. It has a tough rustic image which makes me feel good!!!!!!! I am not being glib when I say that this is a winner.
