Nice appearance, nice thick comfortable sole for standing comfortably on a concrete floor as I spend a lot of my working day. The last slightly narrow for my wide feet. When walking it is difficult to find the sweet spot of lace tightness that stops them from being sloppy on my feet without cutting off circulation! I suspect this is mostly due to the thick tongue on the last lace cross-over - you think you've done the laces tight enough, then when you start walking downhill, the tongue compresses and the laces go slightly loose making the fit sloppy. If you tighten the laces hard enough to compress the tongue then it is sometimes too tight and the laces start cutting into your feet.
I still like the shoes i am wearing them daily and they are fine until I have been walking for a while, but I don't think I will be buying another pair.

At first sight these are perhaps not the most aesthetically pleasing shoes but... they are "old school" robust, waterproof shoes that do the job well. I have several pairs of more contemporary fabric type walking shoes and boots which claim to be waterproof but are actually far from it. These Torridon Trek shoes are quite solid but comfortable and well cushioned nonetheless. I use them for dog walking when wellies aren't required. Sizing pretty good.

Waxy Leather Trek Shoes
I bought these for daily dog walking. The service and delivery were excellent. As regards quality the shoes feel solidly made, they look the part and have proved fully waterproof on a number of outings. My main reservation is with the soles which can be slippy on some wet surfaces and also feel a bit inflexible, giving the shoe a slightly 'clumpy' feel. That aside they do represent decent value for money.

The colour is darker, they scuff easily, they are a small tight fitting size 9.

Good sturdy sole for walking and rubber reinforcement on toe area. Eyelets and brass rings are excellent. Padding round back and tongue are good and comfortable.
Waxy colour is a bit dark but feel will lighten with wear and weathering.
Will wait and see how they perform in the winter.
