Just what I wanted!
It was time to pension off my 20-year old tweed field coat. This new one is only partly made of wool and is therefore noticeably lighter. It fits very well and looks smart. I am sure that it will serve me well.

A little disappointed
First of all the service from New forest Clothing was excellent , it came next day and well packed .
The jacket is light as advertised and is windproof but seems a little flimsy . No neck protection, so you need a scarf and I certainly wouldn't go on the moors or hills with it in very cold weather . I have a jacket half the price and far more robust and higher wool content and better neck protection and warm padding .It's a very nice Tweed coat for dress use and that is what I will use it for .
