Context - I'm 5'6" with a 40" chest and no belly to speak of. I do a lot of hill walking. I bought a medium of this garment. The item itself is very good quality. It's not tight nor too baggy and the chest size is ideal, as are the lengths of the arms. It is light but does provide a slight insulation for use under a coat/fleece, or on its own during warm weather. The versatility is great. The camo is handy if hunting game with either camera or firearm. The only downside is the length. If worn loose, it resembles something wee Wille Winky would wear, if you're my height. Hanging loose will be fine if you're 5'9" or above. Less than that, then you're tucking it in which can reduce ventilation on more exertive climbs. However, at the price paid, and given the quality of the garment, it's a good buy and I feel that it's value for money.

Wanted a 1/4 zip camo sweatshirt and saw this in the NFC site. Ordered and received promptly as always. Expected it to be a bit thicker but its fine over a short sleeve t shirt. For the money you wont go wrong. I ordered 2XL as I am 6'2" and 15stone with a bit of a gut and its fine. Didnt want a top that was too tight. Will have a look at the others in the range

Great Base Layer
Used this as a base layer for my winter fishing trips. Although it never really got cold last winter, the base layer, a fleece and a wind proof shell was all that was needed. Very pleased with the product. New forest clothings service was excellent.
