Ventile® is a densely woven 100% long-staple cotton fabric that is naturally windproof, highly breathable and weatherproof without the need for coatings or membranes. I bought this jacket 3 months ago to use for walking, whilst at work, and whilst dog training. It's very well made, comfortable, quiet and looks great. Plenty of handy pockets and very waterproof. A quality Ventile jacket that feels like it'll last a long time!
One thing to bear in mind with Keela is sizing. It's worth checking their website as they do a few different cuts. This jacket is their 'Explorer' cut, and so its sized for layering. I am 5'8 and wear a medium t shirt, and I chose to size down to a small for a slightly more fitting jacket. It's still roomy enough for a base layer and fleece which is plenty as the jacket is wind proof and warm.
New Forest Clothing were very fast with the shipping as always, brilliant service.

Keela Falkland
I've had a number of Keela jackets and I currently own four of them. The Falkland is similar in style and cut to the old Kandura (for those who remember that) but a little longer. It's very comfortable, reassuringly heavy but not overly so, the material is soft and quiet, it is noticeably water resistant and (very) wind resistant. This is my first Ventile jacket and it works. The price and delivery from New Forest was excellent, no problems at all and very pleased.

Well named!
As I understand it, there's driving rain aplenty in the Falklands, which isn't a stretch from the weather on the jacket's first outing on the Scottish West Coast today. Not my first Ventile jacket, so no doubts about the material's ability to handle a good soaking, though was a tad concerned about rain getting in via the upper pockets due to the wind, but glad to say not a hint, so obviously well designed. The extra length was very much appreciated and this will now be my daily wear over the wet and wintery months to come!
