Lazy Dogs for Barking Dogs
I was introduced to the virtues of good walking sandals quite some time ago and my first pair cost around three times as much as these. They lasted for years though, crossing deserts, wading through streams, scrambling up hills and over moorland and coping just as well over tarmac roads and paved paths, leaving my feet cool and comfortable. I've had several pairs since that never matched that first pair, not even close. Not sure these will last quite as long as my benchmark pair but then nor might I. However, trying them on was like welcoming back an old and familiar friend and they remained on my feet for the rest of the day, tags still on but feeling as comfortable as a pair of slippers whilst allowing my feet to breathe and not overheat.
