I bought these as a gift for hubby. He is six foot and the sock rise is about calf length. Good quality thick material and soft. Not too tight across the top elastic either.

A little tight in the calf if you half legs like a rugby player tho, so be aware of this if you’re a larger lad. Does mean it seals really well for water rejection tho!
