A good value coat...better than my previous Percussion Imperlight.
I especially appreciate rear game pocket; deep ( but unlined) hand warmer pockets; and a hood with a peak. Not yet tested in the wet stuff!

Bought to have a nice jacket when out and about this winter but it became so much more. Not only do I wear it everyday to walk the dog but I’ve done a full season beating in this and it still looks good as new. Really hard wearing against bushes and brambles, keeps you nice and dry. Warm when needed but with the armpit zips and double front zip can be cooler. Love the removable hood.
Game pocket on the back is great size, I’ve had 3/4 pheasants in it. Love the ammo flaps in the pockets, came in great with the 410 ammo. Plenty of inside pockets to keep valuables dry.

Ideal for Beating and Dog Walks
Bought this jacket as a replacement for an old smock which started leaking. Have now used it twice on shoots (full days beating both times) and it’s ideal with plenty of pockets and adjustable hood. I’ve also worn it on dog walks in heavy rain and it’s definitely waterproof. I’m not a massive fan of poppers on the sleeves as I prefer Velcro but that was a compromise I was happy to make at this price point.
For me, as a medium, the size guide was spot on and a size large fits perfectly.

The jacket design is very good , but the sizing is a little tight , the Xlarge I bought is more like a size Large . So be aware when buying .
