The Ridgeline Ladies Monsoon Nordic Jacket is a waterproof, windproof, and breathable jacket designed with a 3-layer construction and a PU membrane, providing a Hydrostatic Head of 10,000mm and a Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate of 10,000g/m2/24hrs. The outer layer is made of 100% brushed polyester and treated with a DWR water-repellent coating, ensuring a silent, rustle-free construction.
This jacket features a two-way front zip, a stud-fastened storm flap, a detachable faux-fur hood and collar, an adjustable hood with a wired peak and chin guard, a large waterproof chest pocket, and two large waterproof hand pockets.

Hood design issue
The jacket is lovely style wise, but the hood is way to small, if you wear your hair in a ponytail, bun or have thick hair it pushes the hood back and doesn’t cover part of head the peck doesn’t sit right, I did ring the company and spoke to a lovely guy who I raised my design concerns.
This is clearly a massive design issue.

I absolutely adore this jacket! After having the smock for a couple of years I really wanted to try a jacket style for ease and to be stylish whilst travelling round Norway. This exceeded expectation- completely waterproof, warm, and perfect for layering. I love the usual cuffs and hood but also the waist tie on this is so flattering. I m usually a 10 but sized up for layering and it’s perfect.
