This classic field jacket is 100% waterproof, completely windproof, highly breathable and totally silent.
It features a large, detachable hood with a deep, wired peak for protection in the heaviest rain and harshest winds. The full-length front opening features a two-way zip and is protected by a thick storm flap.
Two hand-warmer pockets, mounted high, give you somewhere to warm up your hands between jobs. At the waist there are two large cargo pockets with a side-entry option.
On the inside, there’s an additional, zipped security pocket that’s perfect for your wallet.

Super coat failed by cheap zip
I haven't actually worn the jacket but seeing all other reviews it appears to be excellent. My main issue is that the zip is plastic and in my jacket was completely unreliable, failed to zip up despite many repeated attempts. Please Ridgeline change the zip to metal or YKK; so sorry that an otherwise great coat has been let down by a cheap zip.

Great jacket
I have a few pieces of Ridgeline clothing and am a fan of the brand. This jacket is well made and the pocket configuration is excellent. It looks great on and is true to size.
One small gripe is the plastic zip, I would like to see this replaced in future versions of the jacket with a better quality YKK zip. However, it's only an observation and not one that would require me to deduct a star. I'm very happy with the jacket and I am looking forward to testing it over the coming winter.

It’s a Ridgeline! As usual a quality product which works as well as expected. I already have a smock version however with the winter approaching I wanted to have an alternative coat/smock and this will do the trick.
