Smart and stylish but practical coat, fits well. I wanted a smarter coat for shooting days not my usual beating jackets, and this is perfect. Not worn it yet but have every confidence it will be fine as I already have other Seeland products.

I was lucky enough to buy this coat in the sale. It’s definitely waterproof as used it in the rain for several hours. Good weight and good coverage. I did size up so I could wear layers and a bodywarmer underneath. I had several compliments and enquiries the first time I wore it.

I’ve been looking for a comfortable fall coat to go long hikes in the wet cold Canadian fall season. What a find! Stretchy with plenty of pockets, I can also wear it about the city without looking like I’m about to go mountaineering. I bought a size up with a bit of room as we all have to layer up, and yet it doesn’t look bulky.

Smart practical country jacket
Bought this jacket as I wanted a smart country style coat that was also warm and waterproof, and the Seeland does tick all those boxes. Wore it all day in the pouring rain at Badminton horse trials this year and it kept me warm and dry while still looking stylish. I'm a UK 6-8 and would say it is on the bigger side, but the toggles at the waist meant I was able to tailor it to my shape. Have taken a star off for the excessive length and bagginess of the sleeves which rather spoiled the look of the coat - fortunately I'm decent with a sewing machine so I was able to alter them but otherwise I would have had to return it.
