The Woodcock fleece is the midlayer of choice for shooting parties in the cold months.
The Woodcock fleece is made from soft micro-fleece, which has excellent temperature-regulating properties. The micro-fleece is woven using a thin polyester yarn, which produces a fabric with many more tiny air pockets than in a traditional woven fleece. These air pockets are readily warmed by the body, giving them excellent insulating properties. At the same time, they let the body breathe, so moisture is wicked away and you stay dry.
The zip and collar are protected by a soft hem, and the V-shaped neck gives you room to wear a shirt and tie underneath. So you can dress formally without compromising on comfort and insulation.
Together with the jacket, flat cap and breeks or trousers in the Woodcock Advanced range, you can dress formally and functionally from head to toe.

Really nice fleece. Bought this as have the gilet and needed a long sleeve for the slightly cooler evenings. Did well on the body but the sleeves are a little snug but not a problem.

I bought this fleece in October 2023 and I love it. The material hasn't started to bobble yet which has been my experience with other makes. I'm a 32in waist and a 40in chest so bought a Medium which allows me the wear it over a shirt or thin jumber. It's a smart fleece to wear out.

Lovely fleece
This fleece fabric is very nice and feels more like a jumper. The fit is quite close so i would size up if you want to have a bit more room. Unfortunately the zip doesnt go all the way to the top of the collar so we decided not to keep it but still 5 star review as it is a lovley item of clothing.

Great quality and very warm from a light fleece. I like the rounded collar as others often scratch.
Size very close. Can’t get a big jumper and another layer under so if you want that then go up a size. I don’t as plan to wear in spring and when working in garden.
