Best longcoat for rain you can get.

Pros - The coat is quite light and surprizingly breathable as its made of a real fabric and not just a plastic film. That means its not rain-proof like a rubberized plastic coat but just very rain resistant. Thats a good thing however as it means it breaths and remains comfortable no matter the weather as there is airflow and you dont sweat in the humidity. Despite this the design and shoulder cowl means it keeps you dry in even extremem downpours and wind. Also this thing is LONG and covers everything but your calf high boots (Size L for 5'10 - 175cm tall). And the hood is perfect in size and function and even though its detachable it holds on well.

Cons - The only complaints I have are that the pockets are small and arent big enough to feel cozy with your hands in them as they just barely fit and the zippers are rubbing your wrists. The veclro on the inner breast pocket is annoying to handle (stop using velcro we all hate it on everything). the lower leg straps also have nowhere to be held when not in use, leading to them getting caught on things quite easily and catching the coats bottom when passing by something that can hook them.

Very happy with this rain coat, lots of attention to detail, quality materials used. I got the Navy Blue which is a rich dark stunning blue. The fit is slim and perfect, with enough room to add a heavy fleece shirt, or heavy sweatshirt/sweater in winter...One small area for improvment is the collar is too loose fitting letting some wind down into ones core, a pull string on the collor would have been better. But more importantly to a hiker or just a dog walker on very long walk, although it has 4 pockets thay are just plain small. Not sure why the designer chose them as such. This last issue is why I gave it 4 starts rather than 5. Shipping was amasing, this Yank lives on east cost USA, and it got here in two days!!! Cheers to my new British Friends at the New-Forest, I will look to buy more producs from you in the future!

Pretty much a lighter version of the Baleno Livingstone (which I've had for years and is my go-to winter coat). Lightweight, but still warmer than I expected, so probably a 3-season rather than 4-season coat - anywhere above 13C and I find it a bit sweaty. Has kept me dry after hours in heavy rain. I'm 175cm and this hovers around my ankles so you get great protection, once you learn not to tread on your hems and go arse over ****. Affect a bit of Austen-heroine daintiness and lift your skirts occasionally when ascending and you're fine. I'm very, very happy with it.

Does what it's supposed to do : keeps you completely dry, and well sheltered from the wind. It's well designed : very long, there's a decent adjustable hood, and 2 external and 2 internal pockets (the latter being able to hold a wallet and a mobile). The material is relatively light and fairly thin, so you need to wear something warm underneath on a very cold day (you may want to consider a larger size to allow for this).

One minor point : it would be better if the hood attached with 5 press studs (there are only 3).

Otherwise, it's great - really pleased with this raincoat.

Bought this coat for dog walking, and haven't tried it in heavy rain yet. Fit is true to size, and I like that it's lightweight. Very pleased with my purchase.

I bought the Navy Baleno Mens full length coat as a gift, I wanted to get a good quality long waterproof just for everyday practical use for them, because it's so hard to find good long coats for tall people. They are 6'7 and has long arms so the Medium was a tad too short for him, the large fit his arms perfectly and now he has room for an extra layer underneath.
Used several times in British medium-heavy rain and has kept him bone dry and comfortable. Would definitely recommend so far.

IMPORTANT NOTE : IT IS A LONG COAT ,product description : 3/4 length ,NO , IT IS FULL LENGTH , I AM 5 ft 6 in ( 168 cm ) THE COAT HEM IS 8 inches ( 20 cm ) ABOVE GROUND. To use the BACK VENT ( REAR GUSSET ) to expose a lot of extra material ,to expand the HEM diameter a great deal ,put STICKY TAPE on the VELCRO or vent will stick closed again. It is HEAVYWEIGHT material . Inside pockets are small width. I give it 5 stars as a PERFECT WINTER LONG RAINCOAT FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE PROTECTING YOU FROM WIND AND RAIN .

Great lightweight waterproof coat. Full length saves having to put on leggings when walking the dog. Bought the medium fits perfectly, with enough room for a fleece of gilet underneath.

I am very happy with this jacket. It fits well and is comfortable and practical.
