I'm very impressed so far
I'm very impressed so far. Good fit and a slightly (but not excessively) longer length than some similar jackets. It's quite a tailored fit, so I'd need to go up a size if I was planning to wear warm layers under it, but it seems ideal for 3 (or 3.5) season use. Looks great - although it would be better without the big Deerhunter logo on the chest.

Deerhunter Eagle Jacket XXL
The jacket is an excellent size for me as its super cumfortable over the top of a fleece (testing it for winter weather wearing) in August. It's also great over a shirt and is not baggy or cumbersome. The fabric (as described) is quiet and has all the features I require, i.e., various inner and outer pockets (especially the hand warmer pockets) that are accessible with ease. I'm now looking forward to winter!

My husband has several Deerhunter garments, and this was purchased as a smart midweight jacket for a trip abroad. As he is well over 6 feet tall, he always looks for those with longer lengths. The Eagle jacket did not disappoint in any way. It is smart and fairly light, but its quilted lining also provides warmth. He has already ordered the matching waistcoat because he is so pleased with the jacket. It is a great coat that will be worn regularly. Deerhunter sizing can be awkward as my husband can fluctuate between a 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. To be sure, he ordered the 4 and 5XL sizes and plumped for the 5XL!
