Deerhunter's Heat inner waistcoat has an integrated HEAT system that is activated on the left side of the waistcoat with a single click.
The heat intensity is adjustable and illustrated by the built-in LED light, which indicates the three heat levels of the waistcoat. After use, remove the accompanying power bank, attach the small cover to the plug and the waistcoat is now ready to be machine washed - all without damaging the electrical HEAT system.
The waistcoat comes with a zip closure on the front, a water-repellent surface treatment and flexible fabric at both sides, which provide a high degree of freedom of movement and comfort.

Heated waistcoat praised for warmth and lightweight design. Customers said it "works great" and provides "extra boost of heat" for outdoor activities. Faulty heat pads sadly
Really fast delivery from NFC as always.
Unfortunately mine had defective heat pads, found out when out in -6 temperatures, was not good.
Could be a one off but sadly have lost trust in the product & returned for a refund.
Definitely does not get as warm as indicated on the label.

The waistcoat is brilliant ...I am 40 inch chest and 5 ft 10...normally buy medium in Deerhunter ...BUT changed to a Large which I would recommend...needs to be snug but not tight. The waistcoat works really well...would recommend having 2 battery packs ..certainly on a cold days shooting !!

The waistcoat is good quality. The only fault is where the on switch is in the wrong place. When wearing it in the field and carrying guns,I keep pressing the switch so the charge is not lasting all day

Husband delighted with heated gilet. Light enough to wear over skins and under his shooting vest. Has a fabulous heat to it. Husband has had major back surgery, his pins and rods feel achy in cooler weather, so this will definitely make a days shooting more comfortable. Sized up from usual XL as per other reviews. Perfect.

I bought this gilet to help keep warm while riding my motorcycle during the winter months. The heating pads do get nice and toasty. The garment is thin enough to fit underneath a mid layer without being bulky. The only improvement I would like to see would be heating elements on the chest area. The item would be perfect for those who are looking to wear this whilst walking or working outdoors. However, most of the windchill when riding a motorcycle is on the front of the body and the placing of the heating elements are not optimal for this use case. Having said that I’m still very pleased with my purchase and has definitely made riding in the winter more pleasant. The service was great. The product was well packaged and arrived when expected. Nice prompt service. I would definitely recommend New Forest Clothing to my friends and family.

Whilst I haven’t had the chance to use the heating in earnest, it does make a difference albeit only on the lower back. Nevertheless, well made garment that is surprisingly effective even when used as an outer layer.

Would be ok with a decent power bank
The waistcoat fits fine and comfortable but is let down by the power bank. I wore this in the cold weather while picking up on the local shoot and received very little benifit in warmth.
