The Deerhunter Muflon Light sizing issue
The Deerhunter Muflon Light is an excellent jacket. Well made and designed for it's purpose. However, the sizing (for the smaller jacket) is not accurate.
I wear a 38" chest in all my other jackets, shirts and jumpers but this jacket sized small measures 46" and had quite long sleeves..
Had to return as there are no smaller sizes to order, requested a refund. NFC was swift to process my return and made the process very simple. I will continue to look for the right jacket and am happy to order from them in the future.

Quality appeared great and I like dthe jacket. I was already one size larger and it would never fit a fleece underneath. The actual jacket also short in the back. Returned without a problem and I ordered a larger jacket from the same company. Great service.

Pros ... This is a good quality heavy jacket, plenty of pockets and so far very waterproof.
Cons .... The body is shorter than I expected and on a rainy day you need waterproof trousers too. and for some reason the detachable hood could have been better just by using a bit more material. It is quite tight to the top of the head and only just covers the sides of the face. The sizes are very exact so if you think you might want a larger size then you will!
All in all .... Pleased with the quality and as always the service from the company re returns and delivery is excellent and worth paying a couple of quid extra for.

Excellent jacket for Autumn/Winter
I did a lot of research before buying this - looked at ones with similar spec as well as the Muflon Pro and Muflon non-light. I wanted a quality rain jacket with a good fit and certain features (e.g. hand warmer pockets, hood) but not too warm, so went for the Muflon Light. Be warned: Despite being the 'light' version, it is still very warm, and with layers will be suitable for Winter. One small criticism is that the hood is small and should have been a little more generous. But I'm happy with my purchase.
