Product Details
Fredrik is a heavy padded, waterproof and windproof parka with taped seams. This parka will be a true companion when the cold winter season arrives. It has a fixed hood with a detachable synthetic fur.
It has wide front pockets, two chestpockets with WR-zippers. The parka is made of soft breathable polyester. The lining has been dyed using Solution Dye, a dye technique that saves up to 80% water compared to conventionally dyed polyester/polyamide fabric. PFC-free water repellent finish.

Almost Perfect
This is my 2nd Didriksons Parka jacket, and like the first I had this jacket is also incredibly warm and comfortable.
One of my pre-requisites for any jacket is zipped chest pocket where I keep my wallet and/or glasses.
This jacket has this feature, plus you can access the pocket while the zip is fastened, which is very helpful especially on cold/ wet days.
My only small issue I have with the design is that the main zip is so far down the jacket it is incredibly fiddly to get the zips engaged and then done up.
In previous Didriksons designs, the zip did not start at the very bottom of the coat, instead it was in a far easier position at the waist line
While I am able to get the jacket zipped after a few attempts, when dealing with the ingress & egress of two small children from the car or house, having to wrestle with my own jacket is an added annoyance I could do without.
However, to finish on a high; the front pockets are huge and have more than enough space for kids hats, gloves, snacks, tissues etc without bulging out or making it uncomfortable to wear.
I have been out in several storms already and have been as snug as a bug (and dry) each time.

Great service and under -4 testing this morning the coat is perfect. Warm with plenty pockets and generously sized. Only gripe is the zip being a little difficult but I’m sure it’ll ease with use.

Good quality and well made. Sizing is a bit on the large side so went for the next size down and just about big enough. Lining is highly effective and keeps me very warm, hood especially. Would recommend strongly. Service from New Forest was excellent: prompt and efficient.

Lovely coat
Feels quality, looks quality, keeps you warm. I really like this coat. I'm 6' 3" and slim, the M fits me nicely... I normally take a large, so seems this sizes up compared to most brands.

Great quality
This is a very nicely put together parka. The reason for 4 stars is I've not worn it in cold wet weather yet. Ordering and delivery was fast and efficient.
If you read other sites online specs just note that this parka does NOT have thumb loops or a waist drawcord. It looks and feels a quality garment and there is enough room to get a woolly jumper on when the mercury really drops. Overall, great parka at a very good price.

Good quality but huge hood
This parka is really warm so you can't really wear too many layers underneath. Had to send mine back as it was too big and wasn't keen on the massive hood that is not detachable. However overall quality was excellent.
