This is my 2nd pair now. Been trying to find an alternative to the FR viddas and these come pretty close.
One of the few outdoor trousers with no velcro on the pockets (hate velcro, rubbish when trying to be quiet). Just on the waist.
Pockets are roomy although do look a little weird from the back.
Fit wise they are quite roomy and are pretty comfy. As good as the viddas? Not quite, but at over half the price, definitely a good bet.

If you're a fan of ludicrously priced Scandinavian l fox-branded outdoor wear but find that it's a bit too rich for your blood these days, give these a try. Super comfy, hard-wearing, quick drying. Worn daily on a week's hill-walking in the Highlands and been absolutely delighted. Fit-wise: Bit on the long side but I've got fairly short legs, so I've been rolling them up til I get them hemmed. The velcro waistband is great, can get them nice and snug without the fear of a button pinging off!
New Forest Clothing were absolutely superb, definitely will buy from again.

Good quality. Fabric a little stiff to start with but will be fine after first wash. Comfy and as good as my Fjallraven pair at half the price, so far so good.

Very good trousers for the money, tough and durable for both woodcraft and walking. Always had Fjall Raven Vida Pro before but these are just as good for a fraction of the price. Verdict is still out on the velcro fastenings though, would have prefered button or hook and eye.

Too tight in the crotch/front pocket area. Going up a size would be too big at the waist. Other modern and "tactical" trousers seem to be the same unfortunately. If they could be more like craghopper kiwi trousers, it would be 5 stars.
