Helikon-tex woodman jacket is superb great for the outdoors in all weathers and hear in Scotland where we see all 4 seasons in one day it's an absolute steal

Ordered the jacket for use when hiking with a backpack. Wore it on a 20km hike in the peak district recently and we encountered rain, wind and sun. Although its not claimed to be waterproof, it kept the wortst of the rain off me with no need to break out the rain coat for the 20 minute showers we had. It was excellent at keeping the wind off my body and face, with the large hood really helping. The ventilation is also great with pit zips (which can go all the way down to the bottom of the garment if needed) meant that i could vent when needed. The pocket has great functionality with good internal dividing pockets for items such as sun glasses or your phone etc. And the hand pockets are great as they join together in the middle to create a 'tunnel' which means you can hold onto your hands whilst walking to relax. This pocket would be great for storing a map etc if needed.

Bought as a Christmas present for my husband, unsure of how the sizing would be so ordered both XL and L sizes. The large was perfect. I needed to return the XL jacket, and the process was super easy and extremely quick. My refund was received speedily too. He hasn’t worn it yet, but was very pleased when he tried it on.

Great jacket for shooting. Ordered the 3XL which gives plenty of room for a mid layer under it for the colder days. Loved it that much I ordered another in a different colour. Would definitely recommend

Well made and very comfortable mainly used for long walks in the forest with our dog has plenty of pockets, nice and light, measurements on the size chart are perfect size and fits really well. Great product.

Ideal anorak for a dog walk, camp or day spent in the woods. It’s light and breathable enough to keep you from sweating in most conditions but the wind proofing is ideal from keeping the cold off.
Well made and a good size I’d recommend it as an outer layer for most outdoor/walking/camping activities.

Excellent and very stylish product with all the features you need. If you plan to wear this in cold weather with a warm layer underneath I would suggest ordering a size up. Looking forward to wearing it in the spring.

Really love this anorak! Perfact for woodland wild camping. I am a slim 5ft6 female, but got the EU XL to accommodate a large down jacket underneath. It is very adjustable on the cuffs and hem and it worked perfectly for what I need. I appreciated the length to protect my upper trousers too!

The Woodsman anorak is a great layer for walks and hikes with enough storage for your every day essentials. It's tough, hard wearing and the stretch material on the back is a great touch if you're out walking with a pack. It will even take a light shower without you gettign too wet..

Lightweight and comfortable great hand warming pockets and a good idea having separate little pockets in the kangaroo pouch pocket for bits and bobs

Great Anorak as expected from helikon tex.

The side zips make putting on and off easy,

The size is perfect just a tad oversized which means room for warm clothing underneath ..

Only let down is that the back of the garment is not made from dura-canvas like the rest of the garment which let cold air in..

Quick service and goods as described. The jacket is of good quality, strong but light material and a good fit. I'm an XL for most clothing as is this jacket. There's room underneath for a bit of layering if required. Highly recommended.

Had to exchange for the next size up, so I've only just been using the jacket. It's light, easy to put on, reasonably warm for a light weight, well made and decent price. Not had a chance to use it in rain as yet, but no doubt will get a chance very soon

Lovely jacket, but had to change for a size up to allow for a sweater underneath. I have to say the return process is one of the best I’ve come across. Nothing was too much trouble, and I’d highly recommend New Forest to anyone thinking of getting some country wear 👌👌👌

This was also fantastic walked up in Snowdonia keep the rain away all day and keep me dry and was very fast drying off very useful

Great product but a bit of a challenge to take off and on - the zips can be frustrating and the back panel gets stuck under the hood! But once on … great!

Really good lightweight jacket, perfect for walking

This a very well made well designed Anorak. The best feature are the full length zips either side which make this anorak a breeze to put on and take off. Pockets also well designed and a really good hood. On the downside this jacket is not waterproof and that's clear when buying. The other major issue I have with Helikon-Tex is their sizing chart. By their EU half chest measurement I should have taken an EU small. I went one up and tried Medium. I'm 5' 9" and a 40" chest. EU M should have felt large on me. I could barely get it on. I have since bought large which by H-T's sizing should have drowned me. It is a perfect fit with enough room for an extra layer if needed. So, a great jacket, but sizing could be trial and error, with you losing out on free return postage.
