Good well made hiking shoe, even better if …..
Well made, feel robust, first few try outs took a little breaking in. Two improvements for me to give 5 stars, the tongues need to be slightly wider and less curled. The laces would benefit being a bit longer to tie double knots.

Most comfortable walking shoes I have ever had - straight out of the box. Just hope they prove to be more reliably waterproof than many other brands I have previously tried have in the past.

We really like the quality look of the shoes, much more eye catching than most ladies walking shoes. They felt substancial and were comfortable from the outset, with no hotspots. The laces could do with an extra 2 inches to make it easier to tie double knots.

Very comfortable, the sort of shoes you can wear all day. Good cushioned inner soles. Not as light as I was expecting but certainly better than hiking boots. I ordered size 10 (44) but the shoe actually says 9.5 (44). Let me just say if it's 9.5 it's very generous as my size 10 plates of meat fit very comfortably.

Very pleased with my purchase. Shoes seem to be really sturdy and are a good wide fit; this is good for me as I have very wide feet. The tread on the soles look very substantial also. Mot had a chance to wear them yet but looking forward to wearing them on my travels. If anything like the Hoggs of Fife walking boots I have I'm sure they will be good for a number of years.
New Forest Clothing are an efficient company to deal with; my order came 48hrs after I ordered. I'd use them again.

Very pleased with the price, quality, sturdiness. Order and delivery process all good. Used for dog walking and general duties, bought these after two pairs of trainers, one cheap, one expensive, quickly fell apart (front of soles separated) when used similarly. Also have some Hoggs working boots which have lasted many years doing landscape gardening.
