Bought the boots to replace a pairs of Gateway1 boots and these are almost as comfortable, my only concern is they feel a little tight about the top of my foot but Im sure they'll give.
Certainly the soles of my feet feel very comfortable and a good replacement for the Gateway1's

I ordered these boots as a Christmas present to myself, and out of the box they were comfy and just what I was looking for.
However, within 2 months of daily wear of a couple of miles a day on not particularly muddy paths, the stitching came away near the elastic on one boot and the sole appeared to be coming away from the leather on both boots. Contacted New Forest and got a pretty speedy refund as the boots were deemed faulty and under warranty. I did request a new pair but was given a refund. I'd give NF 5/5 and the boots 1/5.

Really pleased with these boots. Comfy out of the box. Easy to put on and take off. Only a few weeks in so time will tell on durability but so far very impressed. I got the darker brown version and would say it is more of a mid brown. I imagine the tan boots are much lighter in colour so bear that in mind.
