First impressions are that this is a quality garment. There are a few loose ends on the stitching but nothing serious - all the hems appear to be sound and well-made. The zipped pockets are reasonably large and form large patch pockets accessible inside the garment which are capable of holding an OS map or even a paperback book.
I intended to use this gilet as summer wear and it's certainly warm enough for that purpose.
I was pleased enough with my first purchase to buy a second one (in a different colour).
