The Galbraith Smock by Jack Pyke is a versatile, weatherproof garment perfect for hunters, beaters, and bushcraft enthusiasts.
Made with a 100% polyester brushed tricot with a laminated membrane and a full-sized hood, this smock can withstand up to 10,000mm of water while still remaining lightweight and compact. It also features adjustable wrist bands and a waist cord for a comfortable fit.
Breathable up to 1000g/m2*24hr, the Galbraith Smock can be used as an outer layer during mild conditions or worn over a fleece or hoodie for extra warmth. With a large front pocket and two angled lower pockets with waterproof zips, it offers plenty of space for documents, phones, and other portable equipment.

Brilliant, has stood up to two years of hard work . Other than a small tear which was entirely the husbands own fault! We have two, one in olive and the other real tree. Warm enough and hold out water well. Would recommend

The material is soft to touch and it doesn't sound like crunching crisp packets when you move around in it. I haven't tried it in the rain yet so I can't comment on waterproofing.
I'm normally an XL and reviews seemed to suggest going a size up is advisable - and I'd advise it too.

After having the galbraith smock for around 2 weeks now, and have taken it on a number of fishing and shooting trips, I can definitely say that this jacket is a very useful addition to your wardrobe.
It certainly keeps the wind out, and the addition of the elastic draw strings on both hood and waist helps keep the gusts out. So far I am very impressed with the waterproofing also, although I have found that it takes a considerable amount of time to dry out once sodden.
It is not a warm coat, obviously, but when paired with a good gilet or fleece, it has been ideal in these recent spring winds and showers. Highly recommend!

Really pleased with the Galbraith Hunting Smock (Digicam). It is fantastic value and good quality with the fabric soft, quiet and warm.
I tend to go up a size with Jack Pyke clothing to allow layering up and better arm movement.
