I actually had to return the first pair as they were a bit snug but within a week I had my return and bigger size sorted ready for a weekend in the hills. One issue, they really need a leg/side pocket.

All season?
The trousers are well made and a good fit. (The main reason I purchased them was that they are sized by both waist and inside leg - a real bonus, I thought, since this is extremely rare as far as all-weather trousers go.) Beware, though, because they are extremely thin and lightweight. I'd have to seriously query whether these are actually "all season trekking trousers". I've not had the chance to wear them yet - simply because the weather hasn't been "suitable". I was hoping to wear them in all types of weather - "nevis" strongly suggested a hardy/warm pair of trousers suited to snowy conditions - but I think I'll be restricting their use to spring and summer. At nearly £60 I think they're over-priced. If you want a warm.waterproof (similarly comprehensively sized) pair of all-weather trousers, I'd recommend you buy a pair of New Forest's own Performance Trousers - at just under £50. (I'm on my second pair - though I can still wear the first pair - and I've worn them throughout the winter/"spring".)
