Bombproof jacket & superb quality
Bought it for use on a 5 day hike/camp (including mountains) in May 2026 in Scotland. It's an incredible waterproof jacket.
The armpit zips make a huge difference. The hood and waist adjustments are easy to operate, even with gloves. Purely as a comparison, my friend wore a Patagonia 3L H2NO and it felt thinner and lighter than the Pinnacle. Make what you wish of that, but I am very satisfied with the Pinnacle. I usually wear a medium and do not like tight fitted jackets, the one I bought was a size medium and there was plenty of room for layers underneath (incl. a warm jacket) and for freedom of movement (an ideal combination for me).
That said, I've only been on 1 trip with this jacket, though I wasn't exposed to torrential rain, it rained everyday and was very very windy in the mountains. It kept the elements out.

... I am unable to judge the jacket, since I am living in Belgium and I had the jacket sent to a UK address in order to avoid taxes, duties etc.
When in the UK in 2 weeks time, I will be able to say more.
In the meantime: timely dispatch, delivery and continuous update.
Plus: to-the-point information during the phone call with the customer service desk.

Seems to be well made and high quality - still waiting for a monsoon to test just how waterproof it is but no doubt it will do a decent job! Feels much more robust that my outgoing Mountain Equipment Zeno jacket.
