Fantastic coat x fully waterproof and great for walking the dog pup

Very well made and good quality material. It is the perfect length, on me just below the knee so great with boots. Good sized zipped pockets, although could have done with a zipped pocket on inside, but wasn’t a deal breaker!

The sizing is very large. I ordered my usual size and it was miles too big.
Seemed like a very good quality coat though and a nice length.

Very happy with this coat , all as described and the added bonus was an inside pocket which was not in the description! Or I missed it. It is roomy but I wanted that ,as need warm jumper underneath my normal size is 12 this coat was a 14 very nice quality.

Completely waterproof and warm. Great length (at 5"5, it's a little on the long side for me).

Found the fit a little small. I'm a busty 18/20 but had to send the 20 back for a 22 to have enough room for a jumper underneath.

I am short 5'2" but this coat works perfectly for me. It's a great fit and I like the gentle shaping to give a flattering silhouette. It got tested today and I can confirm it's definitely waterproof.



If I had one very small gripe is that given it's not breathable I did get a bit sweaty but it is also a warmer than expected day and I didn't at any point feel uncomfortable. Once I got home and took it off it took next to no time to shake of the slightly sweaty feeling but it's a small price to pay for excellent waterproofing and a very smart looking coat.

Arrived quickly exactly as described . Looking for a sturdy waterproof but relatively lightweight coat . Fits the bill really well , not too heavy with room for layers underneath if needed ( I’m probably a “13” so size 14 was perfect for me ) A stylish yet practical coat .

a bit disappointed as I was charged the wrong price and being busy at work could not go back and complain. I was charged alsmost double. But a great jacket and colour.

Lovely well made coat. Sleeves are a little long for me but I’m petite. Initially ordered a 14 but was too large. The exchange process was quick easy and very efficient

This is a very smart looking raincoat and I've had compliments about it and was asked where I got it from. I am about 1.66 metres and it gets just above my knees. Perfect length for me. I am glad that size was mentioned, I ordered a size bigger and it fits just right. The coat could do with internal pockets though.

Bought 2, one black as couldn’t find one in black anywhere else, the other midnight, which is a dark navy blue, perfect. Just what I wanted. Arrived quickly, good fit & quality of coat, excellent value for money.

I am very happy with my coat - it is beautiful and is comfortable to wear. The length is good and I love the colour (Deep Sea). Delivered quickly too. I bought a size larger than normal so that I could wear a warm jumper under it and I am happy that I did so.
I had seen and tried on the coat locally, but it was too expensive, so I came home and googled it and found it at a much reduced price from New Forest!
I haven't tried it in heavy rain yet, but I'm not expecting a problem.
My only criticism is that it was very difficult to iron out the folds when it arrived and I was almost giving up in frustration and sending it back - but glad that I didn't!

Since buying this raincoat which I love the look of. Colour, style etc. I have had a problem with doing the zip up so I have only worn it twice!
I wish that I had sent it back straight away for a replacement.

A great waterproof coat, very wearable length. A little bit disappointed the lining came away on the inside on one side after a month of use.

What a beautiful and well-made item of clothing. I was fed up of getting wet in my so-called waterproof coat I thought I would give the Lighthouse Outrider a chance. I found it first on Amazon but when I did a search it was much cheaper here. If I hadn’t needed it for a funeral a couple of days after I ordered I could have had free delivery. It probably would have arrived on time seeing how quickly my order was processed but even with the extra postage for next day delivery it was still over £10 cheaper than in Amazon. I was right as I needed it for the funeral and I can tell you it is definitely waterproof. The thickness of the material makes it warm to wear too without it being too heavy and I love the Urban Grey colour. There was no awful offgassing smell that I have had with other similar coats. All in all quality and value for money

Really well made coat, 100% waterproof and great knee length for me ( I’m 5’5). Very good value from New Forest Clothing and customer service was very helpful. I’m a 14 but brought 16 so I can wear a sweater underneath. Perfect dog walking coat!
