Love this coat, the length is perfect, and the fabric is soft and easy to wear. I’ve been out and tested it to make sure it was waterproof, it is. Would have given 5 stars but I would have liked to see a side pocket or if the pockets on the jacket were a little lower. Also the sizing comes up small around the hips but all in all, totally worth the price paid.

I was looking for a longer length, lightweight and waterproof coat and this seemed to be exactly what I was looking for.
The coat is fitted and whilst my size was a good fit, I wanted to be able to wear a chunky jumper under it in winter.
I contacted customer service and arranged the easiest return possible. Within a couple of days, the original had been returned and a new one delivered.
The coat is smart enough to wear on a day out, but practical enough for the yard. I am tall and the coat and the sleeves are a generous length.
The detachable hood is a good addition and I like the fabric lined pockets. The zipped inner pocket is a good size too and easily fits in a mobile phone and keys.
I am really pleased with the coat and the service given. NFC are easy to deal with and are my first stop for country clothing

This for me would be the perfect coat but....
This for me would be the perfect coat having everything I look for but for one thing and hence the 4 stars.
The back and shoulders are well sized to allow for ease of movement. Sadly, not all of us have the flat bums and tums of our youth and this coat plus a couple of fleeces I bought need sized up in these areas to reflect that. Whilst able to close, movement is tight and pockets are hard to get into. Going a size up would I believe make the top half too big. As this is a lightweight coat more suited for warmer weather padding up with heavy layers is not really an option in that instance. As always, very pleased with the quality and detail.

Good quality raincoat, not too heavy
Good quality raincoat, well made, not too heavy, and really like the dark green colour. Based on previous reviews I chose a size larger than I usually wear to allow for winter jumpers - it fits satisfactorily but I would have appreciated a slightly better cut and allowance around the bust area as although the coat fits ok it needs a little more room for ease of movement. Have kept the coat as it is good value for money and will be fine for dog walking in the rain.

Lovely coat. Feels good quality. I was worried the length would be too long for me at 5’2”. It’s perfect. I originally ordered a size up as reviews said it was on the small side. I exchanged it for my normal size which is a perfect fit.

This is a lovely coat but I suggest you need to size up, I would be 12/14 so ordered a 14 which was quite tight around the hips, it was easy to return and within a couple of days I received a size 16 which I thought would be huge on me but It wasn't it felt more comfortable even with a jumper underneath, a very good company to deal with and lovely quality coat.

Roomy in the upper body, but tight in the hips even after sizing up
I have an hourglass/pear shape and I went up a size, and it's still a little snug on bottom. Roomy in the upper body, but tight in the hips as the cut is meant more for an inverted triangle figure with wider shoulders and slimmer hips. You can see this on one of the models in the product photos.
I wish the pockets on this were more like the Marsh Jacket, as they're a little smaller and you can only reach in from the top flap.
The warm lining on the drawstring hood is nice as is the silky body lining. The length is good for 165cm height falling below the knees, and the arms are a little long and cuff liner could be tighter.
All in all it's a nice long jacket for keeping my legs dry on dog walks, but in most situations, especially more active ones like gardening where you are up and down a lot, I would prefer my New Forest Marsh jacket which is also exceptional in the rain.
