This purchase was a gift to my son as he’d admired my own jacket of this type.
In measly every respect I’ve loved my own jacket, warm when needed, cool when needed, totally waterproof & with sufficient pockets to carry everything I need in the field or on a trek.
My only criticism is the the lining material turns out to be easily worn away as had happened far to quickly, when worn with the NF waterpoof trousers - the trousers leg pocket popper button heads catch the lining & wear it away eventually ripping it: very frustrating! I’m sure this is an easy fix - simply double the lower level of lining material - but this may push the price up a band, surely not an issue for most buyers who simply want a good quality coat??
