This is a great product at a great price
This is a great product at a great price. It fitted very well and the best description I can give regarding the material and construction is that I have been out shooting in the pouring rain for over 5 hours and was completely dry inside. I would thoroughly recommend this coat. My only criticism would be it would be nice if it had a lining and inside pockets but for the price it’s a great coat.

Used this a few times now, in very cold and snowy weather, not yet in heavy rain.
Good points: 100% windproof and snow proof; High collar; Single shell and roomy, so you can layer up underneath according to temperature; Robust material; Good patch and 'handwarmer' pockets; Length is just right for me; removable hood (see below)
Not so good: a bit of condensation in sub zero temperatures - I suspect in warmer weather this will make it a bit sweaty?; The hood is ludicrous - seems to have been designed for someone wearing a military helmet, riding hat or similar and I haven't worked out how to get it adjusted to something more reasonable but I wear a brimmed hat anyway and at least you can take it off

Have had my coat for around a year worn for dog walks and working in the fields keeps me 100% dry and free from nippy winds. Being unlined do get a bit of condensation on inside and a secure inside pocket would be an upgrade. I also have the NF Performance Field Coat.
