Have been looking for a vest to replace my ancient every day training gilet. As we do agility I like to have a pocket at the back for rewards etc. Something lightweight and comfortable for hotter days; with zipped secure pockets for keys; phone etc, and this fits the bill! Ideal for sports; gundog and just dog walking.
Really nice fabric, and well made; plenty of pockets inside and out. Handy little treat bag with magnetic closure; could also be used to put poo bags in until you get to a bin! Looks very smart!
True to size. I tried over a sweatshirt and it is a comfortable fit, probably not over a jacket. However I think if I had gone up a size it would be too big.
Looking forward to road testing properly.

Great lightweight training vest, but...
Because I'm quite tall I often find that the women's vests are too short in the body so ordered a mans one too. However, the woman's length was great so I actually exchanged the man's one for another one in the other colourway.
However. Although the little treat bag is a great idea, it's pretty much useless because the fabric is so floppy. If it was in a more rigid fabric, and if it had magnets that attached it to the sides of the pocket, it would become a pocket liner and be really useful.
Hence the four stars instead of five.
Otherwise this is a great piece of kit - plenty of useful pockets and a lovely summer weight, and why I've got it in both colours!

It arrived the day after I ordered it which was great. It fits perfectly and is so comfortable, even in this heatwave we've been having. And it has so many pockets for me to put my dogs training toys, treats, extra lead, car keys & phone in, with pockets to spare. I really couldn't be happier.

I am loving my New Forest Ladies Dog Training Vest. I have a Pinewood Sport Vest Mark 2 that I really rate highly but had stopped wearing it as the weather got too warm and I found it too heavy for everyday wear. I missed the ability to carry all the training equipment so found the New Forest Vest which has similar practical pockets but is less weighty and far cooler being a thinner material and mesh construction.
I will now be able to choose a vest to suit the weather conditions 😉

Vest is excellent. It was bought for my wife's birthday, and she's delighted with it. I took advice from other reviewers and bought one size larger to fit over a fleece or heavy jumpers, and this is a perfect fit. The only minor drawback (as others said) is the lack of a hanging loop...
