Wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. Ensure all zips and velcro fastenings are closed.Membrane may be damaged by sharp objects. Keep away from fire. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.

I am sure this jacket is a geat buy for a man
I am sure this jacket is a geat buy for a man as it is nice material and looks very well made. However, I am a 5' 2" woman and was looking for a windproof and waterproof shell jacket to go over a non-waterproof puffer jacket or thick fleece in the winter. I have had Brasher xs men's jackets in the past and they were perfect. They have stopped making xs so I am looking for an alternative. Unfortunately, the NF Marsh jacket in xs I found too heavy and cumbersome for me.

An excellent jacket so far
An excellent jacket so far. I've yet to try it taking the dog out in the pouring rain, but my initial sense is that it will do the trick. It's about to accompany me on several trips abroad where the 'water repellent' nature of a wax jacket just won't do. Plus, my wife hates the smell of re-proofing. One suggestion for future models...the collar is a bit 'floppy'. I would recommend replacing the "suedette" with dark brown corduroy, both as a nod to heritage field coats and as a bit of a stiffer fabric.

Replacement coat for bad weather. Fits well and to size. Can be worn on its own or with room for layers. Waiting for rain and wind to assess it’s waterproofing long enough and with good number of pockets

One criticism, I wish it had a tie down for the hood when not in use. Although the hood is removable.
