As well as being the perfect jacket for a day on the peg, this traditional tweed shooting coat is ideal for hunting and stalking too due to its almost silent quality during movement. This jacket has all the functionality you’d expect from a shooting coat yet its elegant cut means it won’t look out of place worn on a trip into town. It has an array of useful pockets including two bellow pockets, a secure zipped pocket, large inside pocket and fleece lined handwarmer pockets. The jacket also features contrast faux suede collar and cuff detailing, YKK zip, an adjustable waist for an excellent tailored fit and lycra storm cuffs to prevent any unwelcome gusts of wind rushing through the sleeves.

Great value. Lovely quality tweed and good quality popper/studs. Ordered Medium size, and sleeves are quite long, so bear in mind as adjustment may be required by a tailor.

Really good quality tweed, although quite thin. However, very warm and breathable, just needs layering when very cold, which is fine. Sleeves way too long, had to have mine shortened, but now great. Over all: amazing quality garment for a fraction of the cost of @higger end” products. Well done New Forest!

This is an excellent jacket. It's just what I was looking for and I'm delighted with it. The tweed is handsome and the colors are subdued. It's a medium-weight jacket; it's comfortable while moving around down to about 40°F with a little rain and a light wind, and comfortable down to about freezing with a warm layer underneath it. The website's size chart is correct (thank you, New Forest). I wear a 36 suit coat and the XS size fits me perfectly as outerwear. I think the price is quite reasonable for a jacket of this quality. We Yanks get hit with a tariff, but that's no one else's fault. The jacket arrived here in the middle of the US in three days, which is faster than many things shipped from a good deal closer.
