I am very pleased with this smock
I am very pleased with this smock. I ordered a size up from normal to allow for layering and it fits me just right. I haven't been caught in a downpour yet so cannot comment on how waterproof it is yet. It is also not too long for getting over fences. All in all a great smock.

Brilliant item which is used daily. Oversized to allow layers but still well cut. I bought it as I was looking for a jacket that would function fully while carrying my son in his backpack carrier, but the same considerations would also apply to any large backpack. The position of the pockets is great as it doesn't interfere with the chest and waist straps of the carrier/rucksack. I can fill the chest pocket with all the relevant junk (doglead, snacks, keys etc) and still access the lower pockets as handwarmers. The garment looks nice. The side zip is a smart idea and makes it easy to get on. It's fairly warm on its own and is a good windbreaker, but I don't think it would be too heavy for spring or even some summer rain. Fabric is tough and has resisted some fairly serious thorns so far
