I find them to be
I find them to be very comfortable trousers for long walks. I am of a more muscular build, and the freedom that they give is adequate for my 10 mile countryside walks.
Not too tight when I need to sit down, but that is only due to having a more muscular build.
I would say nice for spring and summer, and not too bad for winter also, if accompanied with some thermal long johns.
It would be nice to see them in a charcoal, or a dark grey colour too. I have Moss, Stone and Light Grey myself. Most happy with them.
The quality is nice, and the deep front pockets are easy to get things in and out of also.
Size 50 on a 48 inch waist is just right for me, and also gives room to tuck in jumpers if need be.
The package came in good condition.

My husband struggles to find pants to fit because of his size, so we were so delighted to find a comfy, well made pants with fully elasticated waist that fit perfectly.Will certainly be buying more of similar pants in the future, so glad we discovered New Forest clothing.

Good quality material, looks like they will stand up to heavy day to day use. Nice deep pockets (although my previous walking trousers did have a secure zipped compartment which these don't), although I feel the back pocket could be slightly deeper. Comfortable fit and nice that they come in larger sizes. Overall very happy with the quality, will certainly consider buying more.

Came up small
46 waist 29 leg normally fit but this was 6 inches too small and far too long in the leg.
I think if you find a size that fits (ignoring the label size) then they would be great, well made and good quality
