Good Gillet, however the stitching isn’t great at times. Tension on the machine that made them has resulted in looping stitches which don’t look great.

Seems to be very robustly made and fits well. As recommend I bought a size up from what I normally wear. Only small negative is the complete back of the vest is double lined with PVC just in case you want to put game in the back pocket. I expect this will make it sweaty during the warmer months. Ideally just the pocket should have been PVC lined.

Lovely waistcoat, good large pockets for cartridges, zip inside pocket for valuables.
Size wise I've found that they are a little on the small side, I normally ware a medium but needed an XL, luckily I tried them on at a well known country store chain before ordering from NFC at a much better price.

This gilet has no interior lining, so is basic. The internal pockets aren't spacious. I posted mine back but it might be enough for you if you want something on a small budget.

We may be a big hunting nation here in South Africa, but we only seem to have lightweight clay shooting vests with mesh that that gets ripped & torn. Nothing suitable for the bush or sunflower fields . So I’m very happy with this purchase.

A good gilet with pockets that make it well suited to training and working gundogs...esp good game pocket on the back.. Havent tested it in the wet yet. I took advice and went up a size to 3xl which fits me well ( usually Im a 2xl).
I would have preferred it to have a collar that would then have protected back of my neck.. Overall very pleased so far.

Recently bought the explorer vest for when out with the dog. It was OK but too many pockets that were a bit too small and were on top of each other.
The Traditional Vest is great. Two big side pockets for treats, whistles, poo bags etc, zipped inside pocket for keys and phone, perfectly placed hand warming pockets and game pocket is brilliant for lead and toys.
I didn’t need the picket inserts so cut them out.
