Lovely coat just not for me Too small and too long for me

Lovely warm coat. Brought one a while ago and was very happy with it except for the zip which was not upto the job and I notice other customers feel the same.

Was sent back to NFC and they exchanged with no fuss after supplying some photos of the product. Very Impressed in this day and age with that. No issues whatsoever.

Have now brought a second coat for when I work in SW France at my home / garden there and have now had the original zips taken out and replaced with YKK zips which, for me, makes the perfect work coat.

Great jacket, would defo recommend. Quite warm and suits 3 seasons, underarm vents help keep the temperature balanced. Great materials and build quality, very waterproof and quick drying. On the smaller side, follow the advice of getting a size up. Shoulders are not oversized and the jacket will ride up when you raise your arms, may make a better dog walking/everyday jacket. Abundance of interior and exterior pockets of different sizes.

Well made and comfortable jacket with plenty of features let down by it's front zip. The zip is a bit on the small side for a jacket making it a faff to locate and align, I'd imagine it's even worse trying to fasten this with cold hands on a winters day. Size is slightly on the small side.

Well made and geared towards the deer stalker with thoughtful touches. The size ran a bit small for me though - will have to see about layering.

Excellent jacket all round - although same nag as a few others; a silly zip!

Great Jacket for shooting, huge bellow pockets for cartridges and mid pockets to slot your hands in. found the size to be small. Im usually an XL, and had to order a 3XL, i compared measurements from an XL jacket and it matched the carron 3XL so id say order bigger. jacket is a bit on the thin side but havnt had chance to test in colder weather but some great features on this coat and looks great in my opinion

Having read up on this jacket I was very pleased when it arrived a day earlier than expected.
Plenty of pockets keeps all the elements out, first walk out and the heavens persistently opened but inside I was nice and dry. It is a warm coat you don't need many layers and it breathes.
The only thing that lets this coat down is the zip, frankly it's pants, compared to my Percussion jacket the zip is puny so beware

Had for a month, great in the dry. First time wearing it in heavy rain today, I'm bone dry but the jacket is heavy, so water isn't being repelled, just not getting through to me.
Fantastic amount of pockets and features, love the game pocket, little bit short in length ( but I'm a tall guy).
Survived pushing through brambles no issues.
Will see if it survives a full season

Fantastic jacket. Good weight, very warm, love the collar / hood and perfect for my work as a landscape gardener.
In fact so impressed will be buying another soon to keep at my house in SW France for work there.

Nice jacket but large is a little tight compared to a standard large

Nice jacket with enough pockets for all activities.
Had to return my XL due to being tight across the shoulders but the 2xl allows good movement.
Would recommend sizing up on this jacket

I have owned a VC Pro Hunt jacket for quite a few years which has given good service. I therefore bought a Falcon jacket from the same company. The new one appears to be very similar. Good quality and nicely designed. I also found New Forrest Clothing to provide an excellent service. A free post return label was included which was very useful as the jacket was too small making return and replacement with a larger size very easy. Incidentally the VC jackets fit is small. I usually wear Large size clothing but with this make I need XXL!

I had been prevaricating for a number of weeks whether to get this coat and when it was reduced in the sale it became a no brainer. It has already been tested out two days after it's arrival and has coped very well . It appears to be well made and it has more pockets than one could possibly use. The hood is big enough to go over my woolly hat and head torch and does not feel tight . My only whinge is that the zip to do it up could do with being a bit bigger , as it is a bit of a fiddle with my sausage fingers . I look forward to sharing many rainy days with it in the future .

I would have given 5 stars for this jacket BUT it is let down by a poor quality zip. It was impossible to align the bottom post into the slider to close the zip, even when I tried without the jacket on. It might be that the zip was badly fitted, but I suspect that the zip itself was not the correct type for a thick jacket like this. Having said this, New Forest Clothing were very prompt in responding to me and offering a refund (albeit I think they will deduct £3 as I don't want an exchange).
