Have had my coat for around a year
Have had my coat for around a year worn for dog walks and working in the fields keeps me 100% dry and free from nippy winds. Being unlined do get a bit of condensation on inside and a secure inside pocket would be an upgrade. I also have the NF Performance Field Coat.

Ordered the jacket and there was a problem with it. Got in contact with new forest clothing and they sent a new one out straight away. Received it very quick. Also it was very easy to sent the old one back as they supplied the returns lable. Great service and a great waterproof jacket.

First Impressions
This is not a long term review as the coat has only been worn twice for beating.
It is a very good length coming down to mid-thigh in the front and slightly longer at the back. There is nothing worse than a cost which is too short and doesn't keep your backside warm and when it rains let's the water run onto the tops of your legs and bum.
The coat is not lined or padded and is not thick. Initially I was worried it would not be warm but it is windproof and cut such that you can wear several layers underneath.
The first time out it was raining but the coat turned the weather well. There was a little moisture on the front inside from condensation but very minor.
The coat material stood up well to the brambles and thorns and branches - however it is a nightmare where burdock seed heads are concerned - entailing a lot of cleaning them off once home.
My only real criticism of the coat would be that it would benefit from some more secure zipped pockets for things like car keys, phone, etc. - the only zipped pockets are the two hand warmer pockets and (from experience) it is not a good idea to use those for important items, as it is too easy, accidentally to pull them out with something else and lose them.
I bought the coat on a deal, at just under £100, and at that price it represents reasonably good value compared with similar items.
Based on the limited use I have had from it so far, I would give it a good 7/10 overall.
