Like that the hood comes of as prefer a hat but good to have the option. Nice and long at the back so no draughts when leaning forward and keeps your bum dry when perching on a wet wall.

New Forest Country Sports Jacket
I only had this jacket for few weeks. WOW what a jacket. Used it in terental rain showers we have had at the end of summer when it was still very warm. Kept every drop of rain out and didn't over heating on the inside. Was to kept for a best jacket when shooting but is now my go to jacket for feeding, dog walking, beating and everything else. You wont go wrong with this jacket.
We all know the top brand of this type of jacket from New Zealand and this is as good if not better without the big price tag.

This is a great well made coat light in weight, wind and water proof with room to move freely when shooting you could buy something similar with a well known name on it for allot more money but New Forest owns brand are fantastic quality and excellent value for money you can't beat them in my opinion.

I had hoped to replace an old favourite which looked very similar but the jacket I have purchased is unlined whereas the old favourite was lined. I have yet to wear the new jacket so cannot comment on its comfort. There is no substitute for actually feeling something so I will wait for bad weather and keep my eyes open for a country store.
