Didriksons have a simple philosophy: rather than challenge the elements, we adapt to them. Just like Julius and Hanna Didrikson did back in 1913, when they began producing workwear for the fishermen in Grundsund on the west coast of Sweden.
Didriksons ability to make waterproof, windproof and stylish clothing has developed and improved dramatically with their decades of experience and innovation. From this beginning it was only natural after time to move into producing high quality waterproof clothing for civilians. For over one hundred years they have remained true to their concept, producing functional garments that keep you dry whatever the weather, and that is perhaps why today, more than one hundred years later, Didriksons are still one of Scandinavia’s leading brands for Mens and Ladies jackets.
It should come as no surprise that Didriksons is a hugely popular brand in Sweden, and it has grown in popularity considerably among the UK outdoors community in recent years.
Sustainability and responsibility
Didriksons believe in creating products that will last! By means of timeless design, careful choice of colours and above all quality.
Long-term relationships with producers, environmental protection programmes and sustainability projects, help to constantly develop and improve, including initiatives to create one of Sweden’s best workplaces, and using sustainable materials and dyeing processes and PFC-free impregnation treatments and since 2018, several Didriksons waterproof coats have been made from recyclable polyester.
Their objective is to take responsibility for the entire chain from production through to recycling.
